Madeline Stoffregen, 85, of Zalma, Mo., formerly of Scott City, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau. She was born May 31, 1919, at Fornfelt, Mo., daughter of Henry Martin and Maggie Lee O'Guin Bader. She and Alvin Ray Stoffregen were married Aug. 17, 1940, at Benton, Mo. He died Jan. 17, 2001...

Madeline Stoffregen, 85, of Zalma, Mo., formerly of Scott City, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 31, 1919, at Fornfelt, Mo., daughter of Henry Martin and Maggie Lee O'Guin Bader. She and Alvin Ray Stoffregen were married Aug. 17, 1940, at Benton, Mo. He died Jan. 17, 2001.

Survivors include a grandson, Danny Cope; a great-granddaughter, Danielle Cope, both of Scott City.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce, Mo.
