MACHELLE ALIVIA WILLIAMS

SIKESTON -- Machelle Alivia Williams, 26, of Sikeston died from injuries received in an automobile accident Thursday, Sept. 14, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 17, 1968, at Sikeston, daughter of John L. and Jan Engram Wilson Jr. Her parents survive. She and Rick G. Williams were married Dec. 30, 1988, at Vanduser. He also survives.

Williams was a 1987 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School and attended Murray State University in Murray, Ky. She was also enrolled as a student at Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority at Murray and a member of the Kingshighway chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Sikeston. Williams was also a member of the Vanduser Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Cole Williams and a daughter, Mamie Williams, both of the home; a brother, John L. "Trey" Williams of Springfield; a sister, Julie Leah Wilson of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, John and Hazelle Wilson of Sikeston and maternal grandparents, John and Olivia Engram of Vanduser.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Dan Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
