JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mabel M. Pribble, 85, of Jonesboro died Monday, Aug. 17, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 14, 1913, in Union County, daughter of Harry and Clara America Batson Morgan. She and James C. Pribble were married March 15, 1935, in Jonesboro. He died Oct. 13, 1984...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mabel M. Pribble, 85, of Jonesboro died Monday, Aug. 17, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 14, 1913, in Union County, daughter of Harry and Clara America Batson Morgan. She and James C. Pribble were married March 15, 1935, in Jonesboro. He died Oct. 13, 1984.

Pribble retired from Illinois Department of Corrections. She was a member of Anna United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Pribble of Lakewood, Colo.; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Sullins officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
