BLOOMFIELD -- Mabel Moore Wallace, 82, of Long Beach, Calif., died Thursday, Feb. 23, 1995, in Long Beach.
She was born Jan. 4, 1913, at Aquilla, daughter of David and Jessie Watts McElroy. She married Orville E. Moore, who died May 17, 1956. She and George Wallace were married in September 1976.
Wallace was owner of Mabel's Beauty Shop in Bloomfield from 1935-76. For the past 18 years she was a volunteer at Long Beach Community Hospital.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, David Moore of Mariposa, Calif., Terrell "Terry" Moore of Dexter; a sister, Floy Kelly of Reno, Nev.; four grandsons, and a great-granddaughter.
Graveside rites will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bloomfield Cemetery, with the Rev. Duke Tolbert officiating.
Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
