JACKSON -- Genevieve Irene "Mabel" Lowes, 84, of Adelanto, Calif., died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at Agape Senior Center in Apple Valley, Calif.
She was born July 15, 1914, at Commerce, daughter of Charles and Matty Portis Rauh. She and Elmer Lowes were married Sept. 25, 1934, in Jonesboro, Ill. He died April 17, 1986.
Formerly of Jackson, Lowes had worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson, Sullivan and Salem.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Tucker of Adelanto; two brothers, Warren Rauh of Cape Girardeau, Charles Rauh of Lady Lake, Fla.; a sister, Lottie Job of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Scott Lohse will officiate. burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
