PERRYVILLE -- Mabel Louise Emmendorfer Hunt, 85, of Perryville died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born May 11, 1911, in Perryville, daughter of the Andrew and Louise Pannier Emmendorfer. They preceded her in death.
She married Glennon Joseph Hunt on Oct. 25, 1937. He preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1995.
She had worked at the International Shoe Company and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Ladies of Charity.
She is survived by two sons, Charles A. Hunt of Hillsboro and Harold T. Hunt of Festus; one daughter, Catherine L. Loucks of Desoto; two sisters, Marie Sandler and Earlene Prost, both of Perryville; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and from 6:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Wednesday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be said 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
