MABEL I. KITCHEN

DEXTER -- Mabel Ilene Kitchen, 74, Dexter Route 2, died Friday, Dec. 16, 1994, at her home.

She was born Feb. 18, 1920, at Acorn Ridge, daughter of George and Lou Etta Estes Buchanan. She and Nelson O. Kitchen were married April 18, 1936.

Kitchen had lived in Dexter since 1939. She had worked at Stovall's, and was retired from Elder Manufacturing in Dexter. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Anita Peters of Dexter; a brother, Norman Buchanan of Paragould, Ark.; a sister, Daphana Copeland of Dexter, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vaughn Wright officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
