MABEL DEES

MARQUAND -- Mabel E. Dees, 80, of Marquand died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at Cla Ru DeVille Healthcare Center in Fredericktown.

She was born March 12, 1919, at Castor, daughter of U.E. and Emma Kinder. She and Silas Dees were married April 27, 1940. He preceded her in death.

Dees was a member of Marquand United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Dees of Marquand; a brother, C.M. "Mitt" Kinder of Mercelete, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, a brother, and a sister.

Friends may call at Follis-Sonderman Funeral Home in Fredericktown from 3-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stella Turner officiating. Burial will be in Marcus Memorial Park.
