Lynn Matthew Stamp, 53, of Jackson passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2015. He was born Nov. 6, 1961, in Cape Girardeau, to Homer M. and Theda F. Lambert Stamp. He and Willie Maag were married July 3, 1987, at Scott City. Lynn was a "Mr. fix-it." He could fix anything and spent a lot of his time taking care of projects around the house. ...

Lynn Matthew Stamp, 53, of Jackson passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2015.

He was born Nov. 6, 1961, in Cape Girardeau, to Homer M. and Theda F. Lambert Stamp. He and Willie Maag were married July 3, 1987, at Scott City.

Lynn was a "Mr. fix-it." He could fix anything and spent a lot of his time taking care of projects around the house. He also enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. Lynn attended Cape County Cowboy Church. He drove a truck for Delta Concrete 18 years, and most recently was working for PTI Transportation of Sikeston, Missouri.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Willie Stamp of Jackson; a stepson, Robert (Robin) Foulk Jr. of Amarillo, Texas; two stepdaughters, Crystal (Charles) Dambach of Cape Girardeau and Cheryl (Ronald) Laurentius of Perryville, Missouri; six siblings, Charlotte (Bob) Williams, Junie (Ronald) Drum, Homer (Sue) Stamp Jr., Ruth (Gary) Moore, Mark (Tammy) Stamp and David Stamp; four stepgrandchildren, Ronnie (Jessica) Laurentius, Christina (Mario) Whitney, Jennifer (Brandt) Pope and Luke Foulk; five great-stepgrandchildren, Mackenzie, Kyla, Kaden and Jasmine Laurentius and Keely Pope.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cape County Cowboy Church, with the Rev. Jim Matthews and Don Henson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
