Lynn P. Sprenger, 59, of Jackson died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Feb. 26, 1952, in Cape Girardeau to Paul W. and Dorothy B. Schwab Sprenger. He and Linda S. Drury were married May 28, 1988, at Cape Girardeau.
He graduated from Cape Central High School in 1970 and from Southeast Missouri State University with three bachelor's degrees.
Mr. Sprenger worked as a computer programmer for Southeast Missouri State University for 23 years.
Survivors include his wife, Linda S. Sprenger of Jackson; a son, Jared L. Sprenger of Jackson; and two sisters, Donna S. Hinkle and Mary B. (John) Beckett, both of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Gary Hoffstetter officiating. Burial was at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
