Lyman "Salty" Zimmerman, 92, of Advance died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at the St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Nov. 11, 1902, near Advance, son of the late Matt and Mary Kappler Zimmerman. Lyman "Salty" Zimmerman, 92, of Advance died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at the St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 11, 1902, near Advance, son of the late Matt and Mary Kappler Zimmerman.

He was a farmer in Bollinger County.

He married Thomza Drum on Oct. 25, 1927, in Advance. She survives.

He was preceded in death by four brothers.

Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Revs. Virgil Bunch and Frank Heitman officiating. Burial will be at the Morgan Memorial Park.
