SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Lyman Ralph Davenport of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church. The Rev. A.G. Hampton will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday.

Davenport, 72 years old, died Thursday, March 7, 1991, at his home.

He was born Sept. 24, 1918, at McMullin, son of Tobe B. and Luetta Butrum Davenport.

Davenport was an electrician and sign installer 42 years with Canedy Sign Co. here. He was a member of Calvary Church.

Survivors include a sister, Verba Bolden of Cape Girardeau; a sister-in-law, Velma Davenport of Sikeston; a nephew, Phil Bolden of Cape; four nieces, Fern Moss of Cape, Claudette Holden and Emily Davenport of Springfield, and Sue Dacus of Pocahontas, Ill.
