MILLERSVILLE -- Lyman E. Craft, 59, Millersville Route 1, died Wednesday, March 31, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born May 20, 1933, at Neely's Landing, son of Jason and Lillian A. Williamson Craft. He and Dean Jones were married Dec. 21, 1957, at Millersville.
The Crafts moved here in 1967 from Jackson. He worked 13 years at the former Superior Electric Co. in Cape Girardeau, and for the past 12 years was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of Millersville Baptist Church, and former volunteer with Millersville Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Doug Craft, Sedgewickville Route 1; a daughter, Susan Mudge of Troy; five sisters, Betty Wiggins, Kathryn Penrod, Maxine "Pat" Schenimann and Delores King, all of Jackson, Judy Ward, Millersville Route 1, and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Daniel Hale will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Billy Wiggins. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
