Lydia Margarete Woodard, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born July 18, 1914, at Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Robert Christian and Rosina Heuer Heise. She and the late Dick Wayne Woodard married Nov. 22, 1945, at Cape Girardeau. He died Nov. 7, 1975.
Woodard was a homemaker. She was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church, Hanover Lutheran Church Ladies Aid. She was a member of the former Hanover Dramatic Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Karlis Hennrich, Karen Fornkahl and Kolleen Woodard, all of Cape Gir-ardeau; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Hanover Lutheran Church from 4-6 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 5 p.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The Rev. Jeffrey Sippy and Vicar Matthew Cantu will officiate, with burial in Hanover Lutheran Cemetery.
