Lydia L. Bingenheimer, a former resident of Cape Girardeau, died Nov. 7, 1992, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, La. She was 88.
She was born March 26, 1904, to Gustav and Mary Teidaiman Koenig in Pocahantas. She married Leo William Bingenheimer Oct., 29, 1927, in Jackson. He preceded her in death May 16, 1987.
She was a resident of Cape Girardeau for 31 years, before moving to Texas five years ago and then to Louisiana in August.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Bingenheimer of Sulpher, La., and Robert L. Bingenheimer of Seneca, S.C. She is also survived by one sister, Anna Guth of Perryville, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. Visitation will start at 1 p.m. The Rev. Albert F. Nyland of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pocahantas will officiate.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
