SCOTT CITY -- Memorial service for Mrs. Lyabella Dordoni Aronson of Scott City will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Frank Giunta will officiate, with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

There is no visitation.

Mrs. Aronson, 60 years old, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1991, at her home.

She was born March 3, 1930, in Detroit, Mich., daughter of Franz and Ester J. Dordoni Arroni. She married Herbert Aronson Jan. 23, 1975, in Miami, Fla. He died in 1979.

Mrs. Aronson was a speech pathologist with Dade County Public School System in Florida for 27 years. She was a member of Missouri and Dade County Retired Teachers Associations, Florida Speech and Hearing Association, People for Ethical Treatment of Animals, and Sweet Adelines in Florida.

She moved here in 1988 from Miami, and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Scott City, and a volunteer at North Scott County Nutrition Center here.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, George E. and Iris Dordoni of Scott City.
