MARSTON -- Lula T. Evans, 92, of Marston died Monday, April 15, 1996, at her daughter's home in Marston.
She was born July 3, 1903, in Vicksburg, Miss., to Jessie and Mary Cotton.
She married David Evans on Dec. 3, 1920. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1950.
Survivors include two sons, George Evans and James Evans of Chicago; a daughter, Velma Reed of Marston; a niece whom she raised, Lori Ann Hamilton Lofton of Copperas Cove, Texas; 37 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons and a daughter also preceded her in death.
Evans was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Marston where she was on the Usher Board and was a Sunday school teacher.
Friends may call at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Marston Friday from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at the church Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Turk officiating.
Burial will be in Mason Cemetery at Point Pleasant.
