ULLIN, Ill. -- Luke Slusher, 22, of Ullin died Thursday, April 28, 2005, near Joppa, Ill., as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born May 14, 1982, son of Tony and Katie Slusher. He had worked as a deckhand on CGB Waterfront in Cairo, Ill., and was a graduate of Century High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Haleigh Breyenne Slusher of Scott City; his mother of Scott City, his father of Ullin; two brothers, Eric and Buddy Slusher of Ullin; and his maternal grandparents, Marvin and Mary Shanault of Scott City.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Enloe Clemons officiating. Burial will be in Ullin Cemetery.
