Luella Hall

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Luella Hall, 97, of Sikeston passed away Monday, June 9, 2014, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born Aug. 21, 1916, in Salcedo, Missouri, daughter of Augustus and Chloe Celia Simpson Miller. She and Harold J. Hall were married March 6, 1943. He passed away Sept. 22, 1990.

Luella was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Maxine Waltrip of Sikeston; a daughter-in-law, Theresa Hall Rainwater; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Charles Russell Hall; two brothers; three sisters; and five half sisters.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill, Missouri, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating.

Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
