LUCY SMITH

DEXTER, Mo. -- Lucy Smith, 90, of Dexter died Jan. 19, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

Smith was born Jan. 17, 1911, in Cattlesburg, Ky.

She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dexter and was the former owner of the Mid-Town Restaurant in Dexter.

She and Oral Smith were married Nov. 19, 1961, in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Survivors include one daughter, Helen Marie Waller of El Dorado, Kan.; one brother, James Pinson of Ceredo, W.Va.; one sister, Katherine Hatten of Ceredo; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from noon to 2 p.m. today.

Funeral will follow at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Partin officiating. Burial will be in Malden Memorial Park Cemetery.
