SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Lucy I. Cook, 73, of Sedgewickville died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 31, 1932, at Sedgewickville, daughter of Otis and Ida Seabaugh Johnston. She and Henry J. "Junior" Cook were married May 6, 1950. He died Aug. 29, 1987.
She had retired from LeeRowan as a press operator and was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Ronald and Randy Cook, both of Sedgewickville, Ray Cook of Neosho, Mo., Kenny Cook of Marble Hill, Mo.; two daughters, Joyce Estes of Cape Girardeau, Gina Bueter of Marble Hill; four brothers, Leroy Johnston and Linus Johnston, both of Jackson, James Johnston of St. Louis, Sam Johnston of Millersville; a sister, Bertha Gilmer of Scott City; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. E.D. Francis officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Patton.
