Lucille H. White, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at The Lutheran Home.

She was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Longtown, Missouri, to Wilbert Floyd and Lydia Otilda Funke Sides. She and Firman "Duck" White were married July 6, 1963, at Charleston, Missouri.

She worked as a machine operator for Tri-Con Industries. She also had worked for Davis Electric and as a nurse's aid.

She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Eagles Aerie 3775 and VFW Post 3838 Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Rick (Becky) Borgfield of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Danny Borgfield of Fruitland; two daughters, Carol (Steve) Borgfield and Pamela Sue Tenkhoff, both of Jackson; four brothers, Wilbert Sides, Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Earl L. Sides of Jackson, Paul L. (Linda) Sides of Jackson, Don E. (Ruth Ann) Sides of Jackson; four sisters, Irene Crites of Germantown, Tennessee, Irma J. Pearce of Norris City, Illinois, Betty L. Boyers of Cape Girardeau, Dorothy Gurley of Metropolis, Illinois; 17 grandchildren, Sara (Adam) Meyer, Ashley Borgfield, Kyle Tenkhoff, Connor (Jordan) Tenkhoff, Megan Tenkhoff, Ryan Borgfield, Amber Borgfield, Brittany Stewart, Brandy (Zachary) Kirn, Randy Borgfield, Michael Borgfield, Tony Borgfield, Samantha Borgfield, Jason Borgfield and Shara Courtaway, Wesley (Holly) Borgfield and Wendy Wilson; and many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Gary Borgfield and Larry Borgfield; brother, Herbert C. Sides; and grandchild, Brian Borgfield.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral Service will be at 10 am Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Dehne officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
