BERTRAND, Mo. -- Lucille Taylor, 92, of Bertrand died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 2, 1915, in New Madrid, Mo., daughter of Sam and Ethel Wilson Martin. She and Yewell Taylor were married Jan. 9, 1932. He died May 6, 1994.
Taylor was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include four sons, Yewell Junior, Glen, Larry and Rick Taylor, all of Benton, Mo.; a daughter, Beverly Allred of Sikeston, Mo.; a sister, Ellen Beardsley of St. Peters, Mo.; 23 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at United Pentecostal Church, with the Revs. Jeff Reeves and J.W. Hardin officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Hills Cemetery.
