WYATT -- Lucille Phillips, 84, of Wyatt died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1996, at her home.

She was born July 8, 1912, in Charleston, daughter of Ira Raymond and Alpha Cissell Hunt. She and Willie E. Phillips were married Feb. 10, 1951. He died May 25, 1993.

Phillips was retired from Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Charleston and had been active in the children's department.

Survivors include a son, Joe Foster of Zellwood, Fla.; two daughters, Carla Groves of Wyatt, Gay Tyler of Belton, Texas; a sister, Frances Hoesli of Charleston; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
