Lucille Meyer, 84, a longtime resident of Sarasota, Fla., passed away to the loving arms of our Lord on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010.
She was born Jan. 31, 1926, in Cape Girardeau, one of three children of the late Lawrence and Ida Armstrong Haman. She was the beloved wife of Urban Meyer 58 years.
Meyer was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Harold Haman.
She will forever be remembered by her children, Brad (Ruth) Meyer of Plano, Texas, Carol (Ralph) Jankowski of Denton, Texas, Robert Meyer of Eureka, Mo., and Barbara (Scott) Bradley of Bradenton, Fla. She will always be treasured by her grandchildren, T.J. (Emily) and Jeff Rehagen, Amy and Adam Jankowski, Amanda Meyer, and Courtney, Mason and Makenna Bradley; along with countless numbers of friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Incarnation.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers all donations be made to the Church of the Incarnation.
Palms-Robarts Funeral Home in Sarasota is in charge of arrangements.
