Lucille M. LeGrand, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born April 7, 1920, at Dutchtown, Mo., daughter of Martin and Nellie Miller Fredrick.
She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau and the Miraculous Medal Association of Perryville, Mo.
She and Ben LeGrand were married June 5, 1943, at Dutchtown.
Survivors include her husband of Cape Girardeau; five sons, Ron LeGrand of Mattoon, Ill., and Dave, Tom, Darryl and Sam LeGrand of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Carol Lemons of Essex, Mo., Yvonne Finnegan of St. Charles, Mo., and Karen Golden, Yvette West and Tammy Hendrickson of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Russell Fredrick of Cape Girardeau; and three sisters, Neva Vetter of Painton, Mo., Melva Levy of Millstadt, Ill., and Olivia Williams of Chaffee, Mo.; 32 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, a daughter, two brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
Funeral will be at noon Monday at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
