PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Lucille K. LaRose, 78, of Perryville died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 6, 1930, at Coulterville, Ill., daughter of Earl and Lucille Resar Brayfield. She and Charles S. LaRose Sr. were married May 23, 1953, at St. Louis. He died Sept. 27, 1998.
LaRose was retired from International Shoe Co. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include her mother of Perryville; two sons, Charles S. LaRose Jr. and Richard LaRose, both of Perryville; six daughters, Marcia Comstock of St. Louis, Cecelia Mifflin, Linda Tarrillion, and Cathy LaRose, all of Perryville, Melissa Bachmann of Sikeston, Diana Howe of Old Appleton; two sisters, Elizabeth Haury of Sparta, Ill., and Lanita Cameron of Columbia, Mo; a brother, Bob Brayfield of St. Louis; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. A.J. Wollenburg officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery in Perryville.
