EAST PRAIRIE -- Lucille Greenwood, 91, of East Prairie died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 11, 1908, in Florence, Ala., the daughter of Oliver Q. and Nina Bromley Bradley. She married Howard B. Greenwood on Oct. 31, 1925. He died April 13, 1971.
She had lived most of her life in East Prairie and was retired from the Prairie Manufacturing Co. She was a member of the First Christian Church in East Prairie.
She is survived by four sons, Wayne Greenwood of Wood River, Ill., Billy Greenwood of Anniston, Bobby Greenwood of Jackson, Miss., and Jerry Greenwood of Dogwood; two daughters, Olene Greenwood of Jackson, Miss., and Anna Sue Kinsolving of East Prairie; two brothers, Walter Bradley of Mexico Beach, Fla., and Oliver Bradley of Sacramento, Calif.; three sisters, Eula Stantonand Nadine Barnes both of Sacramento, and Jesslyn Williams of Fremont; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a grandchild, four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Shelby Chapel, with Bro. Fred Girdwood officiating.
Burial will be at the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
