ADVANCE -- Lucille Eakins, 80, of Advance died Saturday, April 29, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 16, 1919, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Robert and Altha Wiseman Hitt. She and Olin Eakins were married in 1937. He died in 1979...

ADVANCE -- Lucille Eakins, 80, of Advance died Saturday, April 29, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 16, 1919, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Robert and Altha Wiseman Hitt. She and Olin Eakins were married in 1937. He died in 1979.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Ban of Advance; a brother, Tom Hitt of Advance; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:30-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
