Lucille E. Davis, 98, of Monticello, Ill., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mackey-Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Lucille was born Aug. 2, 1911, in Vienna, Ill., daughter of Orphus and Pearl Evans Kerr. She and Martin Walker were married July 8, 1935. He died July 15, 1967. She then married Leslie Davis on Dec. 28, 1969, in Cape Girardeau. He died Nov. 27, 1971.
Survivors include three nieces, a nephew, three great-nephews, two great-nieces and a brother-in-law, Robert Ruff of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two brothers, Henry and Marvin C. Kerr, and two sisters, Nellie J. Ruff and Frances Kerr.
Lucille retired from National Lock in Rockford. She enjoyed being outside, flower gardening and family gatherings on Sunday afternoons. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
