MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Lucille Conrad, 97, of Marble Hill died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at El Nathan Home in Marble Hill.
She was born June 15, 1910, near Bernie, Mo., daughter of Edward and Louise Moore Beckman. She and Plutarch P. Conrad were married in Flint, Mich. He died Nov. 17, 1981.
Mrs. Conrad attended Bernie Elementary and High School, graduating in 1928. She was a member of Marble Hill First Baptist Church. She had worked in the Bollinger County Courthouse, the pallet industry, Deever's Shoe Co., and retired in 1975 as secretary to the elementary principal at Woodland Schools.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Conrad and Jo (Ben) Burford of Marble Hill, Iris Jean (Bill) Likens of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Ralph Beckman of Dexter, Mo.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to service time Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
