Staff Sgt. Lucas Landewee, 31, of Delta, died in Poland while serving with the U.S. Army National Guard. Services will be held July 7-8 at Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel and St. John Catholic Church in Leopold.

Staff Sgt. Lucas David Landewee, 31, of Delta died Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Poland, while serving his country in the U.S. Army National Guard.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Parish prayers led by the Rev. Vincent Rathappillil and rosary led by the Knights of Columbus Council No. 5898 will begin at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold, with the Rev. Tomasz Wilk officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at the church cemetery.
