SIKESTON, Mo. -- The funeral for Loyd I. Neeley of Sikeston will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel after 9:30 a.m.
Neeley, 65, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
He was born April 24, 1937, in Reno, Ark., son of Thomas and Sylvia Laws Neeley.
Neeley had been a farm laborer, and had worked at Asplundh Tree Service.
Survivors include two daughters, Flora "Clyde" Gray of Sikeston, Carolyn "Country" Mason of Campbell, Mo.; four brothers, Tommy and Johnny Neeley of Michigan, Lynn and Riley Succaw of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; seven sisters, Ada Goldsmith and Janie Kellum of Poplar Bluff, Nina Stark of Senath, Mo., Lola Church of Michigan, Mary Gales of Florida, Martha Dunn of Black, Mo., Willa Hatton of Yorkville, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
