SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Loy Friese, 59, of Sedgewickville, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 10, 1936, in Sedgewickville, son of Albert and Donie Hobeck Friese. He and Eullean Mae Pillars were married Sept. 28, 1957.
Friese worked on the Ed Sebaugh Farm here 34 years. He was a lifelong member of Caney Fork Baptist Church near Millersville.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, James and Rodger Friese of Sedgewickville, Everett Friese of Marble Hill; three brothers, Oda and Luther Friese of Oak Ridge, Ora Friese of Sedgewickville; three sisters, Mae Zimmermann of Friedheim, Ella Yeager of Oak Ridge, Jane Wille of Jackson; four grandchildren, and a stepgrandson.
He was preceded in death by a son, brother, sister and grandson.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Caney Fork Church, with the Revs. E.D. Francis and Don Owens officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
