SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Loy H. Cook, 88, of Sedgewickville, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1997, at his home.
He was born Feb. 22, 1908, at Mayfield, son of Ameziah and Dicy Fulton Cook. He and Annie Seabaugh were married Dec. 5, 1931.
Cook was a farmer, and member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Elouise Mayfield of Sedgewickville; a brother, Huey Cook of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Ima Douglas of Chesterfield, Ina Rhodes of Sedgewickville, Aileen Loos of Cape Girardeau; a grandson; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Little Whitewater Church, with the Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Sedgewickville Cemetery.
