SIKESTON, Mo. -- Loy Mac Baugher, 53, of Oran, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born April 15, 1948, at Sikeston, son of Loy M. and Mary V. Baugher. He and Sheila D. Mitchell were married July 21, 2001, at Sikeston.
He was an assistant manager of the T.A. Truck Stop in Matthews, Mo.
He served in the Navy Medic Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Sikeston; a daughter, Dana Cockrell of Crowder, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Hopper of Morley, Mo.; two stepsons, Tommy Sherrion of Marston, Mo., and Darrell Mitchell of Festus, Mo.; a brother, John Fred Baugher of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Myra Gilliland of Sikeston and Dawn S. Kobiske of Atlanta; three grandsons and three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Bill Koch and Jack Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
