MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Lowell William Roberts, 71, of St. Louis, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001, at Christian Northeast Hospital.
Roberts was born July 20, 1930, in Lutesville, Mo., son of the Rev. William C. and Elizabeth Richards Roberts.
He had worked as a steel cutter for Nooter Corp. for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Roberts of Seminole, Okla., and the Rev. Danny Roberts of Hillsboro, Mo.; a brother, Cecil Roberts of Marble Hill; three sisters, Hazel Yount and Helen Varvil, both of St. Louis, and Pauline Barks of Marble Hill; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and an infant brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Liley Funeral Home at Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. The Revs. Jim Waymire and Danny Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
