ANNA, Ill. -- Lowanda Pulliam, 76, of Anna died Thursday, June 14, 2001, in Bartlett, Tenn.
She was born May 30, 1925, in Union County, Ill., daughter of Bill and Elsie Marie Baker Stout. She and Thomas A. Pulliam were married July 17, 1949, in Anna. He died July 12, 1989.
Pulliam retired as deputy circuit clerk of Union County. She was a member of Lick Creek Pentecostal Church, Anna American Legion Auxiliary, and Ladies Auxiliary of Union County Democrats.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Glissen of Bartlett; two sisters, Virginia Page of Carbondale, Lorene Lingle of Lick Creek; two brothers, Bill Stout of Lick Creek, Jim Stout of Decatur, Ill.; two granddaughters; three stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgranddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
