Lowanda Louise Gremard, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, July 1, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Sept. 21, 1924, at Wardell, Mo., daughter of Oscar Clearance and Minnie Jane Taylor Young. She and Ralph W. Gremard were married Sept. 15, 1941, in Caruthersville, Mo.
Gremard was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. She was formerly of Sikeston, Mo., and a former member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Gremard of Cape Girardeau, Bruce Gremard of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Deloris Wood of Dallas, Ga., Robin Gremard of Sikeston; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Revs. Marlyn "Bud" Schott and Kelley Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery at Portageville, Mo.
