LOVIES BROWN

SIKESTON -- Lovies Brown, 66 years old, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, March 27, 1991, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center here.

She was born Feb. 11, 1925 in Little Rock, Ark., daughter of Rufis and Lovies Jordan Moore.

She married Aaron Brown on Sept. 30, 1943 at Parksdale, Ark. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1986.

She was a member of the Travelers Rest Baptist Church at Sikeston.

Surviving are five sons, Aaron L. Brown, Dayton, Ohio, Alfred G. Brown, Marion, Ill., Alexander Brown and Arthur A. Brown, both of Sikeston, and Darryl Lee Brown, of Milwaukee, Wis.; four daughters, Dolly Booker, Shirley Stevenson and Denise Brown, all of Sikeston, and Diana Sterling, Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Rea Moore, Portageville, and Walter Moore, Lilbourn; 36 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Sikeston with William C. Booker Sr. officiating.
