LOVA V. TAYLOR

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Mrs. Lova V. Taylor of Mounds will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church here. The Revs. Eugene Williams and Verlee Eaker will officiate, with burial in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds.

Friends may call at the church after 5 p.m. Tuesday, and from 8 a.m. until time of service Wednesday. Jones Funeral Home at Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Taylor, 83 years old, died Sunday, March 24, 1991, at her home.

She was born April 19, 1907, at Dongola, daughter of Royal Vertie and Viola Dale Adams. She married Earl Taylor May 25, 1927, at Mounds.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Louise Hagler of Mounds; two sons, Melvin Taylor of Edwardsville, Wayne Taylor of Percy; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild.
