SIKESTON -- Louise Polley, 59, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 1991, at the home of a daughter. She was born Feb. 3, 1932, in Aberdeen, Miss., daughter of Claude and Lelar Kelso Cecil. SIKESTON -- Louise Polley, 59, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 1991, at the home of a daughter.

She was born Feb. 3, 1932, in Aberdeen, Miss., daughter of Claude and Lelar Kelso Cecil. She married Donald Ray Polley July 3, 1970, at Tanner.

Polley had been a cook and waitress. She was a member of Smith Avenue Church of God and its Women's Ministry.

Survivors include six sons, James Newman of Romeoville, Ill., Larry, Billy and Jerry Newman of Joliet, Ill., Gary Newman of Sikeston, Mike Newman of East Prairie; two daughters, Brenda Alexander and Debbie Merrick of Sikeston; two stepsons, Kenneth Polley of Henderson, Ky., Tony Polley of Denver, Colo.; a brother, James Cecil of Sikeston; 17 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a brother and granddaughter.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Dan Kellum and Terry Ray will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.
