PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Louise Marshall Norton, 87, of Perryville, formerly of Jackson, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, in Perryville.
She was born Feb. 29, 1916, in Eddyville, Ky., daughter of Matt C. and Nellie Riley Marshall. She married Luther James Norton.
Mrs. Norton retired as a butcher for Armour and Co. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in her younger years, and attended First Church of the Nazarene in Collinsville, Ill.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Norton of Perryville; a brother, Harold W. (Earnestine) Marshall of Eddyville; a sister, Laura Estes of Chesterfield, Mo.; two grandchildren, Christa L. Martin of Perryville, Lori A. (Kevin) Fahnestock of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; and two great-grandchildren, Sean R. and Elizabeth P. Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Millard C. Marshall; five sisters, Tylene Gray, Dora Duff, Pansy Boyd, Allie Dupass and Margie Marshall.
Friends may call at First Church of the Nazarene, 1701 St. Louis Road, Collinsville, Ill., from 10 to 11 a.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the church, with the Rev. Tim Young and the Rev. Kenneth Harper officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
