Funeral Mass for Louise M. Kiefer of Dittmer, Mo., will be held at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in House Springs, Mo. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at Cedar Hill, Mo.

Chapel Hill Mortuary at Cedar Hill is in charge of arrangements.

Kiefer, 85, died Sunday, March 16, 2003, in Cedar Hill.

She was born Sept. 18, 1917, at Belgique, Mo., daughter of Edmond and Lexia Mary Verstringer Nobus. She married Thomas A. Kiefer, who preceded her in death.

Kiefer was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Lavern Payne of House Springs, Agnes Myers of Cape Girardeau, Phyllis Kiefer-Comparato of St. Louis; a son, Steven Kiefer of Cedar Hill; a sister, Mary Duvall of Granite City, Ill.; a brother, Edmond Nobus of Jackson; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a granddaughter, two sisters and a brother.
