CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Louise Hess, 68, of Chaffee died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Allenville, daughter of Harry Alexander and Dorothy Lee Davenport Thompson. She married James Hess on Feb. 3, 1964.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Connie Lee Hess of Scott City; three brothers, Harry Lee Thompson of Jackson, Phil and Bobby G. Thompson of Allenville; and two sisters, Betty Cook of Allenville and Janet Pender of Delta.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. Kenny Shoemaker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of donor's choice.
