MARBLE HILL -- Louise Grimsley, 81, of Marble Hill died Saturday, March 22, 1997, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 23, 1915, in Marble Hill, daughter of Ralph and Della Crader Dewitt. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marble Hill for more than 70 years. MARBLE HILL -- Louise Grimsley, 81, of Marble Hill died Saturday, March 22, 1997, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 23, 1915, in Marble Hill, daughter of Ralph and Della Crader Dewitt. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marble Hill for more than 70 years. She had served for 12 years as Bollinger County treasurer and was a retired bookkeeper.

She is survived by two sons, John R. Grimsley of Sikeston and Kevin Grimsley of Marble Hill; a daughter, Kara Funk of Onancock, Va.; two sisters, Betty Hahs of Cape Girardeau and Naomi Barnes of Newburg; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
