Louise "Jean" Foulk, 90, daughter of the late Louis and Rosa Estes Gremard, was born Feb. 7, 1931, in Portageville, Missouri, and departed this life Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
On Nov. 20, 1949, she married Leroy "Pete" Foulk in Scott City. He preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1990.
Louise is survived by a son, Ervin (Docia) Foulk of St. Charles, Missouri; daughter, Nelletta (Samuel) Godwin of Jackson; brother, Harvey (Nadine) Gremard of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Rebecca (Anthony) Byers of Indiana and James Foulk of Saint Charles; great-grandchild, Dylan Byers of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
Apart from her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Samuel Jr. and Samantha Godwin; sister, Myrtle Maloney; and three brothers, Ralph, Robert and Allen Gremard.
Visitation was held Monday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Allen Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
