CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Louise Lee Callahan, 94, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at her home.
She was born Oct. 28, 1913, in Clinton, Ky., to the late Miles Thomas and Troy Viverette Lee. She and Roy J. Callahan were married Aug. 4, 1935. He preceded her in death April 8, 1992.
Callahan had lived in Charleston since 1947 where she was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Oliver Kirkpatrick of Charleston Route 2, Sis and Grady Osborne of Cornersville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Wendell (Kristi) Kirkpatrick of Charleston, Kay (Doug) Glastetter of Charleston Route 2, Steve (Quatina) Wolaver and Kathy Wolaver of Cornersville; five great-grandchildren, Matt Glastetter of Mobile, Ala., Maggie Glastetter of Cape Girardeau, Mark Glastetter of Charleston Route 2, Canon Kirkpatrick of Charleston, and Kerstie Clark Wolaver of Cornersville.
A brother, Viverette Lee, and a sister, Virginia Jaynes, preceded her in death.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Dan Faust, pastor of Charleston United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in IOOF Cemetery.
