PERRYVILLE -- Louise B. Buchheit, 89, of Perryville died Friday, July 18, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 6, 1908, in Perry County, daughter of Joseph N. and Theresa B. Sauer Buchheit. She and Thomas A. Buchheit were married May 3, 1934. He died Aug. 11, 1980.
Buchheit was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include five sons, Dennis, Ronald, Tom and Paul Buchheit, all of St. Louis, Chauncy Buchheit of Ste. Genevieve; two daughters, Betty Nahlic and Patty Vogel of St. Louis; two stepsons, Percy Buchheit of Perryville, Henry Buchheit of Yuma, Ariz.; three stepdaughters, Eunice Schott and Zita Brancio of Denver, Colo., and Lela Buerck of Perryville.
Also surviving are three sisters, Rudy Buchheit and Lorene Kutz of Biehle, Helen Welker of Perryville; a brother, Otto Buchheit of St. Louis; 42 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two stepsons, and three brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:40 a.m. The wake service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
