Louise Anna Steimle, age 77, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center. Miss Steimle was born May 6, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Joseph and Frances Job Steimle. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and also Council of Catholic Women. Miss Steimle had been a physical therapist, LPN, and worked with the Crippled Children's Service, Polio Department of St. Francis Hospital. She also was a nurse at the Boy Scouts Camp...

Louise Anna Steimle, age 77, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

Miss Steimle was born May 6, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Joseph and Frances Job Steimle.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and also Council of Catholic Women. Miss Steimle had been a physical therapist, LPN, and worked with the Crippled Children's Service, Polio Department of St. Francis Hospital. She also was a nurse at the Boy Scouts Camp.

She is survived by her family, a sister, Rosemary Steimle, two sisters-in-law, Lucille and Edna Steimle; two nephews, Joseph and Robert Steimle, nephew John Steimle now deceased; 6 nieces, Judith Bartnick, Mary Garrison, Barbara Wehner, Suzanne Scherer, Patricia Joyce, Jane Myers, and Regina Steimle; 7 great-nephews, Mathew Bartnick, Charles Wehner, James Garrison, Michael Wehner, Daniel Joyce, Scott Myers, and Patrick Joyce; 9 great-nieces Dawn Bartnick, Julie Wehner, Lisa Bartnick, Shannon Joyce, Marisa Joyce, Madeline Steimle, Jacquline Joyce, Molly Steimle, Gretchen Steimle. Miss Steimle was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Visitation for Miss Steimle will be Friday, January 30, 1998, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. at the Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel, 829 N. West End Blvd., a Catholic Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, January 31, 1998, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Notre Dame High School Building Fund.
